TAL in Concert at the Grand Prix de France Historique !
With more than 1.2 million discs sold, 3 NRJ Music Awards, 400 million views on internet sites (a record for a French artist), 4 million fans and followers on social networks… TAL’s success is breathtaking.
Spotted by the Warner label, she signed a contract just a few days later. Two weeks after that, she was a supporting act for Alicia Keys and then for Christophe Maé.
The song “Le sens de la vie” was a fabulous success and put TAL in the top 10 sales for more than 9 months almost continuously. Tal was the only new artist to reach the symbolic milestone of triple platinum in 2012.
After that she went on tour twice, where the concerts reflected Tal’s simplicity and freshness. In total, there were more than 500,000 spectators who attended the 155 concerts, which were all sold out!
For her third album, Tal decided to invest even more of herself in the composition, writing and production, to the point that she has chosen to create an album that reflect the artist that she has become. The result is as original as it is effective. If “Are we awake” is a mixture of prose and instrumental, the words promote a return to true values.
Most of the album is written by Tal, Raphael Herrerias and Ralph Beaubrun, who cleverly juggle between the authenticity and emotion of the French and the rhythm of the English.
Tal looks forward to seeing you at the Circuit of Nevers Magny-Cours on the Saturday evening of the Grand Prix de France Historique on July 1 at 20:30, so you can discover her latest album!
