GMT94 aiming for World Supersport title and then moving up to World Superbike

The GMT94 Yamaha team manager, Christophe Guyot, announced his objectives during an interview with the Journal du Centre at the Circuit of Nevers Magny-Cours last Sunday.

His team’s first goal is to win the World Champion title in Supersport in 2021 with his talented riders Jules Cluzel and Federico Caricasulo. “I want us to put our two riders on the podium at the end of every race,” said the Team Manager.

His other objective for the team is to step up to the premier class, and contest the World Superbike Championship from 2022. Even if there is no absolute obligation to win the crown to achieve this, Christophe Guyot recognises that it would make this change much easier.

In France, the meeting for the sixth round of the World Superbike Championship is scheduled for 3-4-5 September 2021 at the Circuit of Nevers Magny-Cours.

The team at the Circuit of Nevers Magny-Cours wishes GMT94 Yamaha every success for the future.
