Le World SBK and Nevers Magny-Cours circuit, one of the leading racing venues in France, are delighted to announce the extension of their partnership, ensuring the presence of the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours on the calendar up to 2027.

The renewal of the agreement consolidates a new three-year contract, covering the 2025, 2026 and 2027 seasons, highlighting the mutual commitment to the continued growth and success of the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship. The announcement follows the success of the 2023 edition of the event, where attendance figures have soared, surpassing pre-pandemic levels and establishing a solid foundation for future growth of the event.

โ€œWe are happy to continue our collaboration with the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Coursโ€, said Gregorio Lavilla, WorldSBK Executive Director.
โ€œThe Circuit has always offered great racing moments and highlighted the passion and dedication of French fans. Nestled in the picturesque department of Niรจvre, the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours is very popular with drivers and fans for its difficult layout, its technical sections and the enthusiasm of its spectators. Niรจvre local government's commitment to supporting WorldSBK events at the circuit is unwavering, with an ongoing partnership that ensures that the circuit is dedicated to the promotion and socio-economic development of the Niรจvre region.

As part of this commitment, a state-of-the-art race control room (Race Direction) makes its WorldSBK debut during the 2023 event. The infrastructure upgrade, which includes new monitoring facilities, was made possible thanks to a joint effort between the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours and the Niรจvre Departmental Council, an investment that is an integral part of the maintaining the Grade B homologation of the Circuit.

Serge Saulnier, President of the Board of Directors of the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours, welcomed the extension of the partnership by declaring: โ€œ The extension of our agreement is the result of close collaboration between the Dorna teams and the Circuit de Magny-Cours. 2024 will mark the 22nd year of hosting the French round of WorldSBK, demonstrating the enduring loyalty between this championship and Magny-Cours. Our teams, supported by the La Niรจvre department, are constantly striving to improve our infrastructure and ensure the safety of competitors. We look forward to welcoming WorldSBK fans to Magny-Cours on September 6, 7 and 8โ€.

As the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship continues to captivate spectators around the world, the collaboration between these two entities ensures that the French round will remain a highlight of the racing calendar for years to come.
