HVM Racing, the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours and the French Motor Sport Federation deeply regret to announce the death of Alain Lagache.
During his Maxi 2L Classic race, Alain Lagache lost consciousness. He was immediately taken care of by the circuit's medical teams, who began resuscitation.
Transferred by helicopter to Nevers hospital in a stable condition, he suffered another cardiac arrest during which attempts at resuscitation were unfortunately unsuccessful.
The French Motorsport Federation, the teams of the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours, those of HVM Racing and ASA Classic send their sincere condolences to his family, his loved ones and to the entire community of the French Historic Circuit Championship.
