The trio, sidelined following the Race 1 pile-up at Balaton Park, have been given the green light to race at Magny-Cours.
Ahead of the French Round at the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours, several drivers had to undergo medical checks before returning to the track. The three drivers involved in the first-turn pileup at Balaton Park were declared unfit for the remainder of the Hungarian weekend.
Remy Gardner (GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team) was declared unfit due to a back contusion and suspected concussion. The #87 was taken to hospital for further tests after the crash. He has now been declared fit.
Garrett Gerloff (Kawasaki WorldSBK Team) was also tested after the second start of Race 1 in Hungary, as symptoms appeared after the event. Diagnosed with a lower back injury, he was transferred to hospital for observation. He, too, has been cleared to ride in France.
Andrea Iannone (Team Pata GoEleven) was ruled out after the second start, suffering from a cervical sprain with contusion, chest bruises and a possible separation of the acromioclavicular joint in his right shoulder. After a new examination on Thursday in France, the Italian was given the all-clear.
Iker Lecuona (Honda HRC), the fourth rider injured in the Balaton Park accident, has already announced his withdrawal from the French Round and will be replaced by Sergio Garcia.
