Friday 19 February 2016

The circuit of Nevers Magny-Cours today welcomes the LIGIER JS P3 for their first tests. Teams from OAK Racing, YVAN MULLER Racing, DUQUEINE Engineering, UNITED Autosports and ULTIMATE Racing are all taking part.

Jacques NICOLET’s team, OAK Racing, have entered two LIGIER JS P3 in the European Le Mans Series Championship for the 2016 season. The prototypes will be raced by Gentlemen Drivers.

This veritable beast of a racing car is also being prepared for the ELMS Championship by ULTIMATE Racing, owned by brothers, Matthieu and Jean-Baptiste LAHAYE. They will be joined by François HERIOU. YVAN MULLER Racing will also be running a prototype with Alexandre COUGNAUD, Yann EHRLACHER and Thomas LAURENT as drivers.

DUQUEINE Engineering chooses continuity by participating in the 2016 French Circuit Championship.

A small change for them by abandoning GTs to embark on the adventure of a sport prototype.

These new arrivals have created a new title of Champion of France prototype, subject to the presence of a minimum of ten cars entered at the start of the Championship.

The teams will participate in the various championships in memory of Guy LIGIER.
